The Worship Online Mixer is a powerful new tool we've developed that allows you to listen to and mix a song in any way imaginable! In any key! Just as if you were mixing the band from the sound booth. It's really fun and allows you to hear your parts perfectly!

Check out the video below for a full rundown of the Worship Online Mixer and all it has to offer!

The mixer will appear with individual tracks for each instrument, vocal, click, and guide.

Change the Key

  • Click the Transpose button.

  • Choose any key—your selection will display on the button (e.g., "Transpose: -1" for one semitone down).

Control Playback

  • Use the Play button to start the track.

  • Skip forward or backward by 15 seconds using the arrow buttons.

  • Click or drag on the play bar to jump to a specific point.

Adjust Tracks

Each track channel includes:

  • Mute: Silence the track.

  • Solo: Isolate one track to hear it clearly.

  • Pan: Shift audio left or right.

  • Volume: Adjust the loudness.

Tip: Solo a part (e.g., Electric 1) to learn it clearly. Then mute it and play along once you’re ready.

Experiment with Mixes

  • Try muting or soloing combinations of instruments (e.g., remove drums for an acoustic feel).

  • Mix different arrangements to hear how they sound.

Save or Reset Your Mix

  • Changes are auto-saved—your custom mix will remain if you leave and return.

  • Click Defaults to reset all tracks to the original mix.

Mixer FAQ:

Q: How do I turn on the Mixer?
A: On desktop, you can activate the mixer by selecting the "Mixer" tab below and to the left of the video player. On mobile the Mixer option is found at the bottom of the main song screen.

Q: I turned on the Mixer, but can't hear anything yet.
A: Sometimes, after the mixer loads, it may take an extra second to load all the tracks fully. Depending on your device and connection speed, this could take anywhere from 5-60 seconds.

Q: What browsers does the Mixer work best in?
A: The Mixer can be used in most browsers on a desktop or laptop computer. We recommend using Google Chrome first for the best performance. Safari and Mozilla Firefox are the next best. Those browsers will offer the best playback experience for the mixer.

Q: Can I use the Mixer on my iPhone/tablet/iPad/mobile device?
A: Yes, the mixer is also available in our iOS and Android apps. The only place it's not available is within your phone's browser.

Q: What can I do about the Mixer lags or glitches?
A: The Mixer requires a bit of RAM and CPU on your device. This is because it is processing a lot of audio tracks at once. Older computers/devices may have trouble processing the Mixer audio in real-time, resulting in lag or glitches. Giving the Mixer extra time to buffer will help reduce the glitching.

Q: Some songs don't have the Mixer option?
A: The mixer is available on 99% of our songs. The process takes a little while, so we ask for your patience as we continue to update our full library.

Q: I'm still hearing glitches/artifacts in the tracks from the mixer.
A: Try closing other applications on your computer and other tabs in your browser to free up some memory so your computer can properly handle the tracks.

Next steps: Start your free trial and try the mixer out for yourself!
